Founder's Bio

"Saved By Grace was born from a dream, confirmed by God, and built with the heart to help women rise."

Michaela Washington is the Founder and visionary behind Saved By Grace, a faith-based nonprofit created to help women overcome hardship, rediscover their worth, and step into the life God has called them to live.

The vision for Saved By Grace was planted in Michaela's heart in 2011, after she experienced a vivid dream where she saw different women gathered around her, each suffering from different struggles, pain, and life circumstances. At the time, she did not fully understand the meaning of the dream, but she knew it was powerful and deeply spiritual.

Sometime later, while attending church, Michaela was called to the altar. Without knowing anything about her dream, the man of God began speaking over her life and revealed the meaning behind what she had seen. In that moment, Michaela knew it was God confirming her purpose. The dream was not just a vision — it was an assignment.

Through Saved By Grace, Michaela's mission is to create a safe space where women can be restored, supported, encouraged, and reminded that they are still worthy, still loved, and still capable of becoming everything God created them to be.

As a mother, entrepreneur, leader, and woman of faith, Michaela brings compassion, resilience, and purpose into everything she does. Saved By Grace is more than an organization — it is the fulfillment of a God-given vision.

"She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future." — Proverbs 31:25

In Loving Memory

Dedicated to My Father, Harry Washington

May 23, 1950 – October 15, 2021

Harry Washington

Harry Washington

Father · Man of Faith · Legacy

"This mission carries the heartbeat of a man who loved God, loved people, and never stopped praising Jesus — even from his hospital bed."

My father, Harry Washington, was a man of extraordinary strength, unwavering faith, and boundless love. He participated in Celebrating Recovery at his church — because he had a heart for people who were hurting, broken, and finding their way back. I watched him. I admired him deeply.

Even in his final days, he never stopped loving the Word. Even from his hospital bed, knowing it was his time to go be with his Heavenly Father, he was praising Jesus. That is the kind of faith that doesn't just inspire — it transfers.

Saved by Grace is not just my calling. It is his legacy living on. Every woman we restore, every life we touch, every seed of hope we plant — this is for him. 💜

"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servants." — Psalm 116:15

Honorary Leadership

Mother of the Movement

Erica Washington

Erica Washington

Erica Washington

Mother · Strength · Legacy

"You have always been my safe place, my protector, my strength — and one of the strongest women I know."

Behind every movement is a woman who made it possible. Erica Washington is that woman for Saved by Grace. A mother who loved fiercely, fought fearlessly for her children, and showed up with strength and grace through every season — including the unimaginable pain of losing her husband of over 40 years.

Even while carrying her own grief, she continued to pour into her family, pray hard, love hard, and keep going. Her resilience is not just admirable — it is the very definition of what Saved by Grace stands for.

She is the heartbeat behind the founder. She is the living example that a woman can go through the fire and still rise with grace. Saved by Grace honors her today and always. 💜

"Her children rise up and call her blessed." — Proverbs 31:28
